Ecommerce Marketing Specialist


OneUp Components, a Squamish based mountain biking brand is looking for an exceptional Ecommerce Marketing Specialist to join our team. Responsible for managing all aspects of digital B2C sales and marketing at OneUp. We’re looking for someone with at least 4 years of agency experience. Outdoor industry experience and a passion for cycling are a bonus.

We want an ultra organized, ambitious, data obsessed person who can work independently to super charge our ecommerce sales channels through a broad range of B2C digital campaigns, projects and initiatives. The right person will take new initiatives, full responsibility and ownership in the role, consistently over delivering.

Expectations of the role and abilities required:

  • Constantly drive our Ecommerce sales to meet company sales targets
  • Constantly deliver digital marketing campaigns which convert, with a laser focus on KPI’s Sees through vanity metrics and drive sales without sacrificing margins
  • Constantly increase our Ecommerce conversion rate (Shopify experience preferred) Dig deep into the data; a Google Analytics savant who constantly optimizes campaigns to efficiently drive sales
  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams, both internally and externally
  • Build budget and manage digital marketing strategies based on sales objectives Lead the management and execution of email marketing, paid ad, SEO/SEM, digital media and social media campaigns and objectives
  • Provide actionable and results-driven insights to continually improve campaigns, messaging and tactics
  • Regularly test new marketing ideas and concepts Very experienced with Microsoft Excel


    Your Experience and skills:

    • 4+ years of experience in digital marketing (agency experience preferred)
    • A degree in marketing, business or other related discipline (applicants without must demonstrate extensive applied experience in this field)
    • Excellent organizational and project management skills
    • Deep understanding of Google Search, Shopping and Ad Manager and Analytics
    • Deep Understanding of Meta for Business, FB and IG
    • Email Marketing, automations and advanced list segmentation subscriber data enrichment (Mailchimp and Klyavio experience preferred)
    • Shopify analytics and app experience
    • Experience with all aspects of digital media trends, channels and practices
    • Experience with social media advertising, tools, platforms and best practices
    • Experience developing and managing channel strategy and budgets
    • Excellent communicator
    • Experience reporting and selling ideas to the senior team
    • A deeply critical and analytical mindset
    • Primarily office based position in Squamish, some remote work.

    • Applicants must have a Canadian work permit valid for more than 2 years.


        • 8hr/day with a 30min paid lunch break. Flexible working hours 
        • The position is full time, working 9 out of 10 business days in a two week period
        • Compensation based on experience
