COMPLETE EXPLODED VIEW & PARTS LIST

All dropper posts require keyway clearance. With so many different frames, clamps and ride heights, We have built in rotational adjustment between the upper & lower tubes. The oversized pin kit is meant to tune the play out for a specific bike, or to remove additional play that might develop over time.

Start with the 4 pins (6) marked with 2 lines. If play still exists, move to the 4 pins (6) marked with 4 lines.

With the post still installed on bike, complete the following steps.

STEP 1: SEAT CLAMP ASSEMBLY

Unthread the rear clamp bolt (5) using your 5mm hex key. Remove the clamp nut (4) & upper clamp (3). You can then remove your saddle & the lower clamp (2). Clean the assembly and put it aside for assembly.

TIP: Leave the front clamp bolt (5) & don't adjust it. When you reinstall the seat, torque the rear clamp bolt to 8Nm (70 in-lbs) and your seat angle will remain correct.

STEP 2: CLEAN & COMPRESS

Wipe away any dirt or debris from the upper tube (7). Using the trigger on the remote, lower the post to mid-travel.

STEP 3: MID CAP ASSEMBLY

Unscrew the mid cap assembly (8) by hand or using a strap wrench and slide it up towards the seat post head.

STEP 4: CARTRIDGE REMOVAL

Remove the cartridge (15) from the upper tube (1) by rotating the 5mm hex key fitting counter-clockwise. Follow the direction of the arrow lasered beside the cartridge hex fitting.

STEP 5: REMOVE UPPER TUBE

With the cartridge (15) disconnected from the upper tube (1), slowly slide the upper tube out from the lower tube (13). Make sure the original six guide pins (6,7) do not fall back into the open lower tube.

Please keep in mind that the cartridge, without the upper tube, is now fairly loose within the lower tube. Be careful not to knock or apply pressure to it.

STEP 6: GUIDE PIN REPLACEMENT

If the grease is anything other than new, wipe it away with a clean cloth. By hand, or if necessary, with a pick tool, remove the four brass guide pins (6). Replace them with oversized brass guide pins. Start with the 4 oversized pins marked with 2 lines. Once you have those pins installed, you can replace the polymer guide pins (7).

Grease lower bushing (11), around the guide pins (6, 7) with slickoleum or a light suspension grease. Please keep in mind that dropper lengths of 180mm or greater have 2 lower bushings

NOTE: If play still exists after assembly repeat this step replacing the 2 line brass pins with the 4 line brass pins.

STEP 7: INSTALL UPPER TUBE

Align the guide pins (6) with the machined grooves in the lower tube (13). The lasered logo on the lower tube should line up front to back. For reference, the forward-facing guide pin slot should line up with the center of the forward-facing ONE lasered logo. Once aligned, slowly slide the upper tube (1) down into the lower tube, ensuring the guide pins stay within the grooves.

This action should feel smooth. If it is not, then check your alignment and pin position.

STEP 8: MID CAP ASSEMBLY

If you use travel pins (18) in your post, now is the best time to install them into the travel pin channels in the upper tube (1).

Push the upper tube down until the top of the cartridge contacts the top of the upper tube.

By hand, seat the upper bushings (10, 26) into the top of the lower tube (13). Thread the mid-cap assembly (8) into the lower tube and tighten by hand until snug, then with a strap wrench for added security.

STEP 9: UPPER CARTRIDGE INSTALLATION

Ensure the top of the cartridge (15) is contacting the top of the upper tube (1) & the threads catch. Reinstall the cartridge into the upper tube by rotating the 5mm hex key fitting in the opposite direction to the arrow. Once snug, fully extend the post and torque the 5mm hex fitting to 3Nm.

STEP 10: SEAT CLAMP ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION

Place the lower clamp (2) into the cradle of the upper tube (1). Make sure the arrow is pointing forward. Place your saddle on the lower clamp. Holding your saddle, slide the upper clamp (3), arrow forward, under the front clamp nut (4) and place it on top of the saddle rails. You can then drop the rear clamp nut into its seat at the back of the upper clamp. Thread the rear clamp bolt (5) into the nut and tighten to 8Nm.
