Is beoing unnoticable a compliment? I thinks so
"First ride feel: I dont have to think about them at all. My foot feels planted and secure, and those detachable but deadly pins still haven't got to my shins. Plus they look good in ano purple"
The concave front of the pedal hugs the ball of your foot. The sloped back half promotes an aggressive heels-down foot position for more power and control.
After thousands of hours on the bike, 8 design iterations and 4+ years of testing, we introduced a new take on flat pedal design.
Wave uses a sealed chromoly axle system with igus™ bushings and three outboard cartridge bearings. They're fully serviceable and come with our Pedal Bearing Nut Tool.
A little lighter, yes. Wave pedals weigh 355g per pair, 31g lighter than our original Aluminum Pedals.
The pins from our original Aluminum Pedal and the pins from Wave Pedals are cross-compatible, but the internals are not.
We do not have replacement axles available separately. In our experience, if the axle is damaged, the pedal body has likely sustained enough damage that it warrants replacing.
We recommend servicing your Wave pedals once a season as a minimum, twice a season if you ride everyday, or anytime you feel your pedals are no longer spinning smoothly.
The only special tool you need is a OneUp Pedal Bearing Nut Tool, which comes in the box with every pair of Wave pedals.
The hollow hex pins are designed to self-clear mud while riding.
No, the pins are not height adjustable. The only way to run shorter pins is to install pins from our original Aluminum pedals with the washers supplied in the Pin/ Washer kit.
The pins are angled to leverage the shape of the pedal body and offer maximum grip.
Yes, Wave pedals are rated for use on everything up to DH bikes and ebikes.

"Fantastic grip and feel, at one point it genuinely felt like my foot was stuck to the pedal. They also look great as a bonus"
"Grip comfort and style all on point my second set i got. After i tried them originals on my mtb. Was impressed with them. Big improvements over the stamp ones i had. Then i decided to upgrade the dirtjumper and the only color that kinda mixed with my rocky mountain flow wwas in the wave model. The waves feel great also. Just wish they made a gold pair to better match the gold look graphics the bronze works indeed"
"Definitely a huge like! these are excellent pedals i have regular OneUp flats on my trail bike so these are going on my DH Bike, OneUp has really good products."
"They feel amazing with tons of grip with any shoe, not only do they look great they work great."
"The magic grip goblins that live in the pedals know the difference between your foot and the rocks. It has to be voodoo witchcraft - how else can they feel so connected but clear rocks/ obstacles with such ease Extra ground clearance and grip in perfect harmony"
"I have been riding with the OneUp aluminum alloy pedal for 3 years and they were good. I bought a new bike 2 months ago and put the New OneUp Wave Pedal on it. I could feel the difference immediately. They conformed to the sole of my biking shoe and felt more secure. They have fantastic grip. ."
"Looks 10/10 Grip 8/10 Feel 10/10 But, about durability. . . I'm not sure. . . after 2 weeks, I can feel a small loose on the axle (both pedals) and everything is tight on place after inspection. . . more info at the end of season!"
"Love these pedals! I used these new “wave” pedals for a few rides and got on one of my other bikes without them and could not believe the difference! The grip is incredible, it almost feels like you’re clipped in! On another note, the customer service at One up Components is exceptional! This company goes above and beyond like no other! Love love love their products!!"
"ok, so this is a top notch pedal for certain. is the design brief a game changer? no. i do subtly feel the line of pins under the toes/ball, like a pure concave pedal, but with slight ability to repositon by twisting the heel if you unweight. it's comfortable and natural and i like it. i feel no vexity, no cavity, no bulgity, just flat pedal greatness. to the naysayers: of course OU produces new product and markets them. imagine. do you really think that they didn't test and ride this pedal at great length to confirm the design?? to me, it's the most comfortable flat i've ridden and i've tried a few and it's bit better than the OU composite's that i replaced with these."
